Risbyn

When commissioned by IKEA to design a paper light, I experimented with overlapping paper to create patterns that appears together when the light shines through. The project involved a journey to China to visit the factory, exploring crafts- and production techniques. To develop this design we pushed the traditional ways of production, it was challenging but worth it! Risbyn brings value, high quality design at a low cost and is loved by many people. I see I everywhere and it warms my heart every time!
